LOCKER ROOM RULES

1. Read your Teacher’s sign, then only ENTER the locker room from the hallway front door
and EXIT the locker room through the back door to the blacktop.
2. Walk (DO NOT RUN) at all times when coming towards the locker room, when entering,
when inside, and when exiting the locker room.
3. If you need to borrow a PE uniform (loaners) you should go directly to the TA cage.
4. Do not put your backpack ON TOP of the lockers as it is a safety hazard.
5. DO NOT stand or walk on the benches as it is a safety hazard.
6. Keep the combination dial covered from view when opening your padlock.
7. Immediately put the padlock through the handle and LOCK THE PADLOCK, then spin the dial
on the padlock, but keep the door open.
8. If you forget your padlock combination or your locker is jammed, ask a teacher for help.
9. Remove your jewelry / money from your uniform pockets, and put them in your backpack.
DON’T BRING EXPENSIVE JEWELRY OR A LOT OF MONEY TO SCHOOL!!!
10. Keep your lanyard and ID around your neck when dressing out or re-dressing.
11. Take your Physical Education Uniform, shoes, and socks from your locker and place
them on top of your backpack (which is already on top of the lockers).
12. Take off your School Uniform and hang it on the hooks in your locker.
13. QUICKLY dress in your Physical Education Uniform, and sweats (if allowed).
14. Only YOUR Physical Education Uniform, optional sweat clothes, shoes, and socks (along
with personal hygiene items) may be stored in your locker overnight.
15. Do not put your belongings in anyone else’s locker. You should not know their
combination and Teacher’s WILL NOT open anyone else’s locker for you!
16. Your locker should be closed and locked whenever you are not in front of it. Don’t go to
the bathroom, borrow loaners, or talk to your teacher with it unlocked!
17. You are not allowed to dress, or re-dress, in the toilet stalls except by special permission.
18. As soon as you are finished dressing TAKE YOUR BACKPACK WITH YOU and exit the
locker room through the back door to the blacktop.
19. Dirty uniforms and sweats must be in a bag, or backpack, when taken home to be washed!
20. Only athletes (and their coach) will be allowed in the locker room outside of class time.
21. The following items are not allowed in the locker room and will be taken and not returned:
  • -NO Food, gum, candy
  • -NO Water or drinks out of backpacks
  • -NO Lotion or sunscreen
  • -NO Sprays (deodorant, hairspray, perfume, cologne)
  • -NO “Axe” products of any kind

22. Cameras, cell phones, and other electronic devices cannot be used in the locker room.
23. DO NOT touch any equipment, or a teacher’s personal items, without permission.
24. PE clothing should be taken home on Friday after class to be washed / dried for Monday.
25. If you lose an item, or leave it behind, check the Lost and Found in the locker room.

PADLOCK REQUIREMENTS

Padlocks purchased outside of school are not allowed in the locker room! If any outside
padlock is used in the locker room it will be cut off. Each student must purchase a TRMS
combination padlock for their locker by bringing $5.00 cash to their Physical Education
teacher on FRIDAY, August 12. The combination will be recorded on a locker assignment card
to be kept by the Physical Education teacher. Students must demonstrate that they can open
the padlock, without looking at the combination or needing help, before they will be issued a PE
locker. For students who cannot master a combination padlock, other arrangements may be
made based on individual need. If the padlock is lost another Physical Education Department
padlock must be purchased as soon as possible.

Next Steps

Hello Students and Parents- During this period of distance learning, your physical education classes will be conducted online, just as your other classes. Our classes will follow the format below. Each day a workout video will be posted to our Google Classroom. You are expected to access and complete this workout daily. After the workout, you will need to complete your daily learning log, where you will reflect on the workout and provide evidence that you did the workout. FiT Works will be posted and required as homework as normal. The first will be assigned Monday, March 23 and will be due Friday, March 27th.  I will be checking each day at 3pm that you have accessed the day’s workout and completed your learning log.
